WBD imageWe are all getting very excited about ‘World Book day’ and hope you will join in the events with us.

We would like pupils in Key Stage One to come to school dressed as a character from their favourite book. Pupils in Key Stage 2 (years 3- 6) are welcome to join in but should they not wish to dress up they can write a book review about their favourite book to share with other pupils in the year group during the day.

In the afternoon pupils will have the opportunity to listen to a story read by a member of staff other than their class teacher.

After school ‘Fables Book shop will be in the infant hall to give pupils the opportunity to use their free £1.00 voucher to buy something or exchange it as part payment for a book of their choice.

We hope this will be a very exciting day and generate a new interest in reading across the school.

We do hope you will join us in the events to celebrate this national event.

Thank you in advance for you support in this celebration.
